New Record in Iran COVID-19 Daily Death Toll

TEHRAN ( Iran News ) – Iran saw its daily death toll from the novel coronavirus rise to a new record on Tuesday with 229 lives lost. Speaking at a daily press conference on Tuesday, Health Ministry’s Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said 229 COVID-19 patients have died across the country over the past 24 hours, a new record as highest single-day death toll since the viral disease broke out in February. She put the total death toll from COVID-19 in Iran at 14,634.
