CBI governor defends joining FATF, warns of consequences otherwise

Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, Abdolnaser Hemmati, said Wednesday that joining the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) would be beneficial to Iran. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, Abdolnaser Hemmati, said “joining the FATF will benefit us.
